Standing Bear Dance
The Standing Bear Dance was organized to bring the Sacred Sundance
Ceremony to the people of this community and region. This ceremony stands as a
powerful way for the people to send prayers, give thanks, and ask for health,
help and healing for themselves and all of our relations. This ceremony
gives
honor to our ancestors seven generations ago, and for the seven generations to
come. This ceremony strengthens the
community so we may live. This is a community
ceremony intended for those who truly
want to live this way of life.
For those people interested in helping or participating we ask that you keep
in your thoughts and actions:
Have One Mind and One Heart
All Things are Divine
We are all Relations
It is not for gawkers, site-seers or Wannabes!
All who come in a good way are welcome
